CREAMY MANGO GINGER SMOOTHIE





Mangoes are one of my all time favorites .I get really excited whenever they are in season.
With mangoes,the possibilities are limitless!it can be sliced and eaten on its own as dessert,used in salads, for making salsa,cakes and tart.Starting my week
on a good note with a glass of juicy creamy delicious mango smoothie.Added ginger gives it an extra oumph!



INGREDIENTS;

  • I cup fresh mango cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon  of flaxseed 
  • 1 inch piece of freshly minced ginger
  • 1/8 tablespoon of ground cinnamon 
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk 
  • 1/4 cup ice 




PREPARATION;

  1. Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Feel free to add additional honey to sweeten if necessary.
